"Here's My Story and I'm Stickin' To It"

Chapter Four: A Perfect Fit - Uh.. Not so much

By the middle of 1995, I found myself burned out and broke. So I decided to change my focus a bit in order to pursue another passion of mine; Driving.  I  become a professional Chauffeur, driving  stretch Jaguars all over the Puget Sound area.

Yep... that's me... At your service!

I have to say, I met quite a few interesting people. It was fun, exciting, lucrative and exhausting all at the same time.  But after about a year and a half things slowed way down and I was only driving  on the weekends.  I continued chauffeuring until the early 1998, then I had to take a break.

I met  my husband  in January of 1997 and we decided pretty early on that it was time to finally settle down once and for all.  And as they say (whoever "they" are) "the rest is history".

Since the driving business was a little slow, in September of 2007, I took a Sales Rep job at Great Expectations ~ a Video Dating Service. The company was bought back by the franchise owners in June of 1998, so most of us got laid off. Which was actually really cool for me because I was 8 months pregnant and ready for an "extended leave of absence"!
After I had my daughter in July of 1998,  I worked from home as an Account Executive for the limousine company.  It was great but I eventually left that job  because I really just wanted to focus on being a remarkable Mom.
I must say being a parent has got to be the most rewarding and yet the most difficult "job" I have ever had.

2nd SIDE NOTE: I am now blessed with  2 wonderful kids. My daughter is 10 and my son is  2. Besides my faith.... my family are the most important thing to me. They always come first.

That takes us to Chapter 5 - What goes up must come down.
